TB-500

Investigational Peptide

A synthetic thymosin beta-4 fragment studied preclinically for tissue repair; direct human evidence is insufficient.

Insufficient human evidenceLast reviewed October 27, 2026

TB-500 is commonly described as a synthetic peptide fragment associated with thymosin beta-4, a naturally occurring protein involved in cellular functions such as actin regulation and cell migration. Thymosin beta-4 has been investigated in relation to tissue repair, cellular movement, and wound healing. However, TB-500 and full-length thymosin beta-4 are not interchangeable. Research involving one cannot automatically establish the effects of the other.
